Hello,We have a user who has left the company, and their last backup on VBM365 is from 25/01. The issue is that we don't have any restore points, even though we have a retention policy of 7 years. What do you think could be the problem?Thank you.
It’s VTT question time. Good luck! 😊 Veeam ONE is a monitoring solution for your virtual and backup infrastructure. Choose three (3) platforms supported by Veeam ONE?VMware vSphere Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 Proxmox VMware Cloud Director Openstack RedHat Enterprise Virtualization
More than a year ago I wrote a post about my VMCE 2021 exam experience. If you want to read more about that experience : VMCE exam personal experience | Veeam Community Resource Hub In this post I wanted to share my experience with the latest VMCE 2024 (V12) exam 😄.It’s already my fourth time I did a VMCE exam (first V9, 2020, 2021 and now 2024).On those exams I always passed from the first time and that with a much higher score than needed. So, my goal was again to pass from the first time 🤗. If you want to know how this ended, just keep on reading 🤣. Normally I prepare myself months before by reading the things I have to know (mainly helpcenter.veeam.com) and especially the things I’m not that familiar with and not that experienced with it.The problem this time was that I didn’t have any time doing that months and even weeks in advance 😏I scheduled the exam (online proctored) months before and the only I could do in advance to prepare myself was, 6 days just before the exam (1 day

Hello Community! The 1st post here in the VMCE Study Hall was about study practices. Several Community members posted some really good information. You can read more about what others do to prepare for the VMCE below:Several Community members have also taken the VMCE within the past year or so and have shared their exam experience after the exam. Of course, they didn’t provide any hints at actual questions, but did give suggestions on how best to study and/or go about tackling the VMCE exam on exam day. As such, to save you all some time searching the Hub for this information, I thought it would be beneficial to provide all those currently studying for the VMCE the links of the most recent VMCE Exam Experience posts (within the past 2 exams) here. There was a member who also didn’t pass on the 1st exam attempt, and I thought it beneficial to share that post as well. Thank you to all the following who shared their VMCE exam experiences here on the Community Hub:@Michael Melter @Nico Loss

Hi Everyone, Will try to get these out weekly!
Let’s say, for the moment, that you’re an IT storage administrator with several Pure Storage FlashArrays providing production block and file storage in your datacenter. Every time you open an article with “storage integration” or “backup from storage snapshot” in the title, you come to find that it is referring to virtual or physical machine data. You wait for, and you hope for, one of these announcements or blogs to be about doing file backup from storage snapshot. Your wait is over!Pure Storage has developed and delivered a GitHub community project that allows you to use Veeam Backup & Replication Unstructured Data Backup to backup both NFS and SMB shares on a FlashArray, or a FlashBlade, from storage snapshot. This includes when you have Pure SafeMode snapshot immutability turned on.Why does backup from storage snapshot (BfSS) matter for FlashArray or FlashBlade file backup? Two main reasons:Open files Point-in-time consistencyOpen FilesTo successfully protect a file share, al

I am trying to upgrade 11a (11.0.1.1261_22020302) to V12.1 via iso and when it gets to step 3 (Upgrading Veeam Explorers) a popup says that it can't find VeeamExplorerForSQL.msi_explorers. Error: The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. It is looking for that file in this location (which does not exist):C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Setup\Temp\80ca74a8-4c01-451b-b8df-3d76e7abf376\FixFiles\I can't find it anywhere on the machine. I did find an old log file that references that file that references version 9.5. I found that file inside an old 9.5 update. I extracted it and put it in the location asked for, but it still does not like it.
